I would like to introduce our little Esther. We got her from a terrible hoarding situation. She was infested with fleas and had chewed her legs and tail through her skin. Her eyes were infected and her teeth were in bad shape. After a month of love and medicine, our sweet girl made a complete turn around. She is being fostered in a home with other dogs and does wonderful. She prefers to be alone, usually snuggled under a blanket, but gladly accepts a snuggle up by another of our dogs, just doesn’t initiate that. She loves sitting behind you on chairs or in your lap. She loves belly rubs and adores laying out on the deck in the sunshine.
She gets excited about food, which is the only time she barks. She is totally crate trained. We find her many times curled up in the crate in our living room on her own. She loves to take walks and does great on a leash. She was not house-trained when we got her, but is totally house trained now. She comes when called. She handles her baths very well.
We love her to pieces and it was awesome to have the opportunity to get another dog on the verge of despair and bring them back to healthy and happy. She will be a great addition to a family!
